On January 12 and 13, 2025, in Ea Bung commune, Ea Sup district, (Dak Lak province), Dak Rue Border Guard Station coordinated with Yok M'Bre Border Guard Station and local authorities to organize the program "Warm Border Guard Spring for the People" in 2025.

Representatives of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command and Ea Sup District presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hieu, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Dak Rue Border Guard Station, said that every year, on the occasion of Tet, Dak Lak Border Guard organizes the program "Spring Border Guard warms the hearts of the villagers" for people in the border area.

Accordingly, this year, Dak Rue Border Guard Station coordinated with Yok M'Bre Border Guard Station and local authorities to organize the "Military-Civilian Tet" program for people in Ea Bung commune, Ea Sup district.

Units wrap green Chung cakes to give to families with meritorious services, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances.

The program included many meaningful activities such as: presenting 269 gifts to families with preferential policies, poor and near-poor households; presenting 38 scholarships to students in the program "Helping children go to school", "Adopted children of Border Guard Station" and students in especially difficult circumstances; presenting a livelihood model to support young families to overcome difficulties.

At the same time, cultural and artistic exchange activities, sports, and free haircuts were organized. In particular, the Border Guard organized a package of 1,050 banh chung to give to families and students in difficult circumstances in the area... The total cost of the program was over 200 million VND.

Through the Program, we aim to express the affection, responsibility and gratitude of Border Guard officers and soldiers towards ethnic minorities in the border areas in the cause of building, managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.

This activity is in response to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" launched by the Prime Minister.
