On August 22, the launching ceremony of the final round of the national 7-a-side football championship - Bia Saigon Cup 2023 (VPL-S4) took place in Hanoi. VPL-S4 went through 3 regions to find the strongest teams. In the Northern region, the champion was Mobi Club. Meanwhile, in the Southern region, An Bien FC was convincingly crowned and Hieu Hoa - Quahaco excellently won the title in the Central - Central Highlands region.
In addition, other representatives participating in the final round are Dai Tu Club, Tung Anh (North), Betong 26 Gia Lai (Central Highlands) and Dat Tin, Bay Nui (South). The tournament takes place in a knockout format, the winning team of the quarter-finals will enter the semi-finals and then play in the final. The champion team will receive a prize of 150 million VND, the runner-up team will receive 80 million VND and the third-place team will receive 60 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan - Head of the tournament organizing committee - said: " After 3 months of competing in the regional qualifying rounds, the tournament has reached the final round. This year's season marks a step forward in terms of expertise, expanding the time and space for competition.
The 7-a-side football category with a 10-year journey of construction and development has achieved certain achievements, received recognition at home and abroad, and the approval of international friends. Accordingly, the 8 teams in the final round are excellent representatives, promising a great season .
The national 7-a-side football tournament is still a "street" playground that receives great attention from fans. Not only amateur stars, the 7-a-side field now has many professional players, even the Vietnamese Golden Ball Nguyen Hoang Duc still spends time on his passion.
The final round of the Championship Cup will take place at the Hoang Mai District Cultural and Sports Center (Hanoi) for 3 days from August 24-27, promising to bring exciting and engaging matches from 8 teams.
