Eric Kahl was born and raised in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden, with a Thai mother and a Swedish father. He grew up in the AIK club training center (the largest in Sweden) and played for the club's first team from 2019 to 2021, before moving to AGF Club until now.

According to Transfermarkt , Eric Kahl is valued at 1.8 million euros (over 47 billion VND). With his preferred position as a left-back or center-back, this player is considered to be a significant addition to the Thai national team's defense. In the 2024-2025 season, Eric Kahl has played a total of 20 matches and scored 1 goal.

This player has not been called up to the Swedish national team yet, so choosing to return to the Thai national team is completely legal. However, just like the recent case when Madam Pang convinced 15-year-old Silva Mexes of the MU youth team to join the Thai U.17 team (whose mother is Thai, father is Welsh), both need to complete the paperwork before officially being allowed to play.
