U23 Vietnam's opponents lack a series of stars before the Asian qualifiers

Recently, U23 Singapore announced the list of 23 players preparing for the 2024 U23 Asian qualifiers.

Notable are the duo Umayr Sujuandy and Elijah Lim of the Young Lions Club. Besides, Ryaan Sanizal also withdrew due to injury.

In addition, two stars of the Singapore national team, Ilhan Faldi and Khairin Nadim, were also not named.

However, coach Nazri Nasir said the whole team is ready and believes they will do something to make the fans proud.

“The selection of 23 players is the result of relentless performance, determination and discipline throughout the training process.

Equally important is their involvement in guiding our tactical approach and planning,” said coach Nasir.

On September 2, U23 Singapore arrived in Phu Tho (Vietnam) to prepare for the matches in the 2024 U23 Asian qualifiers.

According to the schedule, in this qualifying round, coach Nasir and his team will face U23 Yemen (September 6), U23 Guam (September 9) and U23 Vietnam (September 12).
