In 2 days (May 17 and 18), the 18th Congress of the Fatherland Front of Tho Xuan district, term 2024-2029, took place. During the past term, the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations of Tho Xuan district have actively innovated the content and methods of operation, completed and exceeded 10/10 targets set by the Resolution of the District Fatherland Front Congress for the 2019-2024 term, contributing to building and consolidating the great national unity bloc. The Fatherland Front at all levels focused on advising and organizing 425 conferences to deploy and disseminate resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central, the province and the district to over 100,000 participants.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized contributions to the "For the poor" Fund for over 6.5 billion VND; coordinated to support the renovation and repair of 323 houses, presented 120 livelihoods, 81 bicycles, 15,792 gifts with a total amount of over 22 billion VND to families in difficult circumstances... Promoting the people's mastery, participating in Party building, and government building is increasingly clearer in terms of organization and implementation methods; social supervision and criticism activities are implemented with increasingly strict and effective processes.

The opinions discussed at the Congress seriously reviewed and frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the organization and operation methods of the District Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term; at the same time, proposed 11 targets and 6 action programs of the District Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term with goals, key tasks and specific solutions.
