The working delegation of the United Nations Interim Security Mission in Abyei (UNISFA) highly appreciated the work of preserving and maintaining equipment of the Vietnamese Engineering Team and successfully completed the contents and requirements of the working delegation.

The United Nations Interim Security Mission in Abyei region, led by Mr. Raju Khadka, Head of the Military Equipment Management Department, conducted a comprehensive capacity check on the Vietnamese 3rd Engineer Team.
The delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of all aspects of work, focusing on checking the technical status, the ability to operate key equipment, the unit's self-sustaining material assurance, logistics, engineering, information, environmental sanitation and disease prevention; and checking all military equipment and personal equipment according to United Nations regulations of soldiers in the entire unit.
With careful preparation and high determination, Engineering Team No. 3 successfully completed the contents and requirements of the mission delegation.

Concluding the inspection, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Raju Khadka highly appreciated the preservation and maintenance of equipment of the Vietnam Engineering Team.
Mr. Raju Khadka emphasized that ensuring good operational capacity of equipment will determine the quality and effectiveness of the Vietnamese Engineering Team's mission performance.
Through this, we also hope that in the coming time, the Vietnam Engineering Team will continue to maintain and promote better technical assurance work for the unit's equipment and materials, in order to contribute to the successful implementation of assigned tasks.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Au, deputy head of the professional team, Engineering Team No. 3, said this was a quarterly inspection by the mission of units from the sending countries.
To achieve the above results, the team's command has done a good job of disseminating information, creating unity in both awareness and action, assigning comprehensive, thoughtful, specific, and meticulous preparations from the beginning, following the motto "see with your eyes, touch with your hands, have a backup plan and absolutely not be subjective".
Especially for the used engineering vehicles that have been degraded and some of them do not have spare parts, the team commander has reviewed, researched, and effectively promoted the experience of highly skilled staff to renovate and manufacture spare parts, thereby meeting the requirements set by the United Nations and the requirements of the mission in the past time.

With the outstanding results in the inspections of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations Support at the United Nations Headquarters, New York on November 25 and the inspection team of the equipment capacity of the United Nations Interim Security Mission in the Abyei region (UNISFA), demonstrating the solidarity and high determination of the officers and employees of the 3rd Engineering Team who are striving to reach the goals and targets of the peak emulation campaign "Proud of tradition - Continuing the feat - Worthy of the name of Uncle Ho's soldiers" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
