In addition to the 2025 Book Promotion and Introduction Contest with the theme "50 years of the country blooming", the mobile book service program "Mobile library journey - Light of knowledge" phase 2 in 2025 will be held from April 17 to 25, combining activities and propaganda on topics such as: Access to libraries and effective reading skills; Training self-protection skills for students to prevent and combat school violence; preventing and combating drugs in schools; preventing accidents, injuries, drowning, and fires in primary and secondary schools in the province.

On this occasion, the Provincial Library also coordinated with the Engineering Officer School, the Cultural, Sports and Broadcasting Centers of districts and cities to organize book exhibitions and activities to serve the people to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and respond to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), World Book and Copyright Day (April 23)...

According to Dr. Ta Anh Thu, Head of the Department of Literature Pedagogy, Thu Dau Mot University, "Book and Reading Culture Day is not only an occasion to honor books, but also a gentle reminder of a quiet but lasting value: Read to understand, read to live better.

In a world that is too rushed and noisy, sitting down with the pages of a book is like a conversation with a confidant, and also like a dialogue with yourself. We listen to the voice of time, of people, of things that we thought were sleeping in our hearts. Books not only give us knowledge, but also remind us how to live kindly, courageously, and humanely - values that never get old", Dr. Ta Anh Thu shared.

Currently, the Provincial Library is preserving about 600,000 copies of books. Over the past time, the Provincial Library has been changing, updating and supplementing electronic resources to meet the increasing needs of readers. Up to now, the Provincial Library has digitized over 20,000 pages of documents on Binh Duong geography; purchased access rights to about 2 million electronic documents and purchased copyrights for over 2,000 audiobooks to serve the library's readers.
