On August 26-27, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2024 (AIAA 2024) Champion Award Ceremony took place.

The AAIA 2024 event attracted more than 200 brands and technology solutions from more than 20 countries, with the participation of more than 10,000 companies from all over the world.
At the ceremony, Dai Phong Construction Design Consulting Joint Stock Company excelled over 150 entries to become the Vietnamese enterprise winning the first prize in the category "Creative Enterprise of the Year" with the work applying building information modeling (BIM) in the design of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway project.
This is a project carried out by a consortium of investors led by Deo Ca Group, ordering Dai Phong to apply BIM in design from the project proposal research stage.
To win the First Prize in the category "Creative Enterprise of the Year", the design of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway project by Dai Phong Construction Design Consulting Joint Stock Company has excellently surpassed 150 other entries from experienced units in 6 countries: Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The BIM application contest in the design of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway project was conducted by Dai Phong Construction Design Consulting Joint Stock Company as a consulting unit participating in the project proposal preparation.

This is a highway project with a total length of 60km located in Lang Son province, connecting Huu Nghi border gate with the North-South expressway.
The project is invested under the PPP method with a total investment of more than 11,000 billion VND, implemented by a consortium of investors: Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company - Construction Joint Stock Company 568 - Lizen Joint Stock Company.
To ensure the quality and efficiency of project construction, the leading investor consortium, Deo Ca Group, has proactively invested funds to pioneer the application of digital technology in project design, construction and management.
At the project, the design consultant applied digital technology, focusing on applying BIM in the technical design and construction step to help control local site clearance, manage contractor progress and construction quality, and optimize design and project implementation costs.
In particular, this "digitalization" also helps project enterprises plan with the general contractor and evaluate the responsibilities of consulting units, preventing risks during the project settlement process.
Mr. Mai Manh Hong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Phong Construction Design Consulting Joint Stock Company, said that the application of BIM has opened up a new, modern and effective direction in transport infrastructure projects.

AAIA 2024 is the leading prestigious competition in Southeast Asia on the application of building information modeling (BIM) and architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) solutions.
