Businesses and organizations with the mission of improving public health

On September 26, the conference “Connecting businesses to implement national goals on public health” was held in Hanoi to call for the companionship of businesses in leading health initiatives.

The conference brings together leading experts in the medical field of Vietnam, representatives of foreign embassies in Vietnam and large domestic enterprises.

With the theme “Promoting responsible marketing based on the national project of the Vietnamese Government: Effective and sustainable development trends of large enterprises”, the conference emphasized that the whole society needs to join hands to build a healthy Vietnam. The State, together with enterprises and organizations, needs to further promote investment in healthcare, improve service quality and promote healthy lifestyles.

In the context of increasing demand for health care, the connection between businesses and national strategies on public health becomes more important than ever. Accordingly, strategies are designed with clear goals; assigning specific tasks to each ministry and sector; aiming at the sustainable development of the country.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Le Dinh Tien, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education, said that in recent years, the Party and State of Vietnam have always cared for people's health, devoted many resources to building the national health system; issued many policies to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of the health of the entire population.

Mr. Tien emphasized that the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education continues to be an important bridge between the Government and the people in the health sector. Over the years, the Association has continuously encouraged and supported businesses to participate in the implementation of the Party and State's policies and strategies on universal health care.

Mr. Tien believes that with the cooperation of domestic and foreign pharmaceutical enterprises, political and social organizations, and the coordination of the Government, Vietnam will successfully build a "solid" public health care system, towards a healthy and sustainable country.

This is also one of the effective marketing methods for businesses, demonstrating vision, community responsibility and commitment to sustainable business.

Ms. Hoang Thi Bach Duong, Standing Member, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education, affirmed that connecting businesses in the health care sector is extremely necessary, thereby demonstrating the solidarity and consensus of the whole society in creating community values.

Ms. Duong also called on pharmaceutical businesses and corporations to carry out marketing strategies towards the common good, promoting the humanity of the human health care sector.

This is not only a social responsibility and civilized spirit but also an opportunity for businesses and organizations to spread their image and enhance their position in the community and business environment.

In particular, the conference also pointed out national strategies on women and children, social issues, public health, and the health of the elderly. These strategies require strong responses from all agencies, departments, and organizations in Vietnam; aiming at comprehensive health services for the people, improving the quality of life and reducing the rate of chronic diseases.

The conference “Connecting businesses to implement national goals on community health” was co-organized by the Community Project Board of ADCrew Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Vietnam Community Health Care Education Association. This is not only a place to share medical experiences but also a forum to promote responsible marketing strategies and build sustainable strategies in the pharmaceutical and health care industry in Vietnam.
