"The more I visit localities in Vietnam, the more confident I am in the success of investing in this country," Mr. Daniel Rosen, CEO of the American Rosen Partners Group, expressed to Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai during a meeting in New York on April 6 (US time).
Optimistic about entertainment complex project in Vietnam
The leader of Rosen Partner Group said that he had just visited many localities in Vietnam and was very optimistic about the investment prospects here, especially related to tourism promotion projects such as building world-class entertainment complexes, according to the Government Portal (VGP).
Sharing the idea of the project, Mr. Daniel Rosen said that the project will crystallize the unique cultural values of Vietnam to the world, thus not only serving the needs of Vietnamese people but also attracting international tourists and keeping them in Vietnam longer.
He affirmed that Rosen Partners wishes and believes that investment cooperation with Vietnam will bring success, because Vietnam is a very special country and has enough "recipe" for success.
In response, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai welcomed Rosen Partners to seek opportunities to expand investment in Vietnam in the fields of real estate development and tourism.
He affirmed that Vietnam always accompanies and creates conditions for US companies to carry out business activities effectively, successfully and sustainably, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Rosen Partners, a US-based real estate and tourism development group, visited Vietnam in November last year and also met with Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, where he revealed a world-class entertainment complex project to be built in Hanoi.
Calling on US businesses to expand investment in Vietnam
Rosen Partners is one of the American businesses that Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai received during his working trip from April 1 to 7.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on April 5 and 6, the Deputy Prime Minister attended a business seminar organized by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and privately received a number of American economic corporations, including Rosen Partners.
At the seminar, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that US businesses continue to expand their operations in Vietnam, focusing on areas where Vietnam has demand and US businesses have strengths.
He and leaders of Vietnamese ministries, sectors and enterprises also discussed and recorded opinions and recommendations of American enterprises on many issues, including increasing the capital ownership ratio of foreign enterprises in the banking sector, investment in transport infrastructure, securities, etc.
Also in New York, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai met with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, visited and spoke at Cornell University of Technology.
The Deputy Prime Minister proposed that the United Nations prioritize support for Vietnam in mobilizing finance, transferring technology, sharing knowledge and practical experience, especially in a number of areas such as improving the ability to respond and adapt to climate change, effectively managing water resources, energy transition, innovation, and digital transformation.
For her part, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed affirmed that Vietnam is an important partner of this organization.
