The Provincial People's Committee's monitoring delegation worked with Ninh Phuoc district on the implementation of new rural construction.

According to the report of Ninh Phuoc District People's Committee, implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Ninh Phuoc currently has 8/8 communes recognized as meeting New Rural Standards; 2 communes of Phuoc Thuan and An Hai meeting Advanced New Rural Standards. The remaining communes have met from 10 to 16/19 criteria for Advanced New Rural Standards. Regarding the district's meeting of Advanced New Rural Standards, up to now, the locality has met 31/38 contents and 5/9 criteria. The district aims to have 3 communes: Phuoc Thai, Phuoc Hau and Phuoc Son meeting Advanced New Rural Standards by the end of 2024; striving to bring Phuoc Vinh, Phuoc Huu and Phuoc Hai communes to meet 10-13/19 criteria for Advanced New Rural Standards.

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province emphasized: In order to bring Ninh Phuoc district to meet the advanced NTM standards by 2025, the locality needs to strengthen the leadership of the Party and the political system must take drastic, synchronous and comprehensive action; continue to promote propaganda and mobilization work to create changes in awareness and promote the role of the people; focus on reviewing and analyzing each unachieved criterion, thereby assigning specific tasks to each sector to be determined to complete with a specific roadmap and time; regularly inspect and review to grasp difficulties and problems and promptly resolve them.

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Ninh Phuoc district to continue promoting the role of the people as the main subject in building the new rural areas according to the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". Focus resources, integrate programs and projects and mobilize contributions from businesses and communities to support people to increase income and improve their lives. Strengthen meetings and evaluate the completion level of each content and target, thereby developing and promulgating directives and resolutions that are close to the actual situation of each locality. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the departments, branches, Fatherland Fronts and mass organizations assigned to support the district in building the new rural areas to regularly monitor and evaluate the implementation results of the criteria; advise and propose to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; at the same time, guide the development of documents for submission to review, appraisal and recognition of meeting the new rural standards when meeting the prescribed conditions.
