Implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU, the Party Cell and the Department of Industry and Trade have organized study, dissemination and propaganda for cadres, party members and civil servants in the sector. The work of advising on the implementation of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU has been carried out promptly; closely following the targets and tasks assigned to the sector to meet the requirements of the resolution. Up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has issued decisions approving investment policies and investment registration certificates for 63 energy projects/3,630MW, with a total investment capital of over 100 trillion VND, of which in the period of 2016-2020, 50 projects were attracted with a total registered capital of nearly 88 trillion VND, accounting for 69% of the newly registered investment capital of economic sector projects. The implemented energy projects have contributed greatly to the total social investment capital of the province. The development of energy projects has promoted the efficiency of land use and increased the value of land use, especially the development of optimal use of salt flat land combined with wind power. The proportion of energy accounts for 21.3% of the province's GRDP and 61.8% of the construction industry, contributing to raising the structure of the industry-construction industry from 19% in 2015 to 38% in 2022.
Comrade Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.
Speaking at the monitoring session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the role and responsibility of the Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade in directing the professional department to actively advise the province to implement Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU to achieve many positive results. He suggested that the Department of Industry and Trade review, evaluate, clarify, thoroughly and highlight the contents of innovative models in the process of implementing the Resolution; research and propose directions to achieve goals commensurate with the potential and advantages of the locality in developing renewable energy. In the coming time, it is necessary to seek opinions and recommendations from central ministries and branches to propose solutions on the policy of developing Ninh Thuan into the energy and renewable energy center of the country to turn the locality's advantages into development opportunities. In addition, it is necessary to further assess the difficulties, advantages and limitations in the implementation process, and propose feasible solutions to continue implementing the Resolution to achieve the set goals.
