The Marine Surveying and Charting and Marine Research Group gives gifts to students and the elderly in difficult circumstances.

On March 16 and 17, in Hai Phong, the Marine Surveying and Charting and Marine Research Team, the Naval Staff coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Anh Dung Ward, Duong Kinh District, Hai Phong City to organize many practical activities on the occasion of Youth Month 2024.

The Head of the Delegation gave gifts and encouraged students and the elderly in difficult circumstances.

The delegation led by Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Ngoc Quang, Deputy Political Commissar of the delegation, visited and presented 5 gifts (each gift worth 500,000 VND) to excellent students at Anh Dung Secondary School; and presented gifts to 5 elderly people in difficult circumstances in the stationed area.

Youth Union members repair and beautify local martyrs' cemetery

On this occasion, the Youth Union of the Surveying and Marine Charting and Research Unit coordinated with local youth organizations to clean 3km of streets; repair and beautify the martyrs' cemetery, take care of and trim trees in the unit's campus, and beautify the environmental landscape with nearly 150 working days.

The unit also organized cleaning of houses, offices, pruning of trees, collection of scrap, organized friendly football matches; organized wall newspaper to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024)...

These activities aim to raise awareness and responsibility among cadres, youth union members and people in protecting the environment; building a "green, clean and beautiful" landscape for units and military areas, while strengthening solidarity and cohesion between the army and the people.
