A welcome performance

Attending the meeting were: Major General Nguyen Van Tri, Political Commissar of the Signal Corps; leaders and commanders of the Signal Department, Radar Department and Brigade 602 under the Naval Staff, and representatives of traditional naval liaison offices in the city.

The Hai Phong Naval Information Traditional Liaison Committee was established in April 1995 and currently has 160 members divided into 10 groups.

The report at the meeting stated: In 2023, the Liaison Committee always promoted the spirit of comradeship and teamwork, actively organized meaningful activities such as: Regularly visiting, sharing, encouraging, and wishing longevity to members; educating the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation... In daily life, Navy Information veterans continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers", always believe in the Party's leadership; actively participate in the movement "All people unite to build culture in residential areas", being an example for their children and grandchildren to follow.

The Political Commissar of the Signal Corps and the Brigade Commander of Brigade 602 presented flowers of congratulations.

In 2024, many practical activities will be implemented to build the Hai Phong Naval Information Traditional Liaison Committee to be increasingly stable and developed. Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Van Tri acknowledged the great achievements and contributions of the Naval Information Force in the resistance war against the US to save the country as well as in the current cause of national construction and defense.

Members were awarded the Commemorative Medal of the Communications Corps and wished a long life in 2024.

The Political Commissar of the Signal Corps hopes that the comrades in the Liaison Committee will continue to contribute to the development and growth of the military communications sector in general and the naval communications sector in particular, and actively build an increasingly strong Liaison Committee. On this occasion, 70 members were awarded Commemorative Medals by Major General Nguyen Van Tri for their contributions to the development of the Signal Corps, and 15 members were congratulated on their longevity.
