As part of the program to offer incense and flowers at some martyrs' cemeteries to commemorate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, on July 20, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province, led by Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, together with leaders of departments, branches and sectors, came to offer flowers and incense at the special national historical site of Dong Loc T-junction, Ha Tinh province and visited the special national historical site of Kim Lien, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

Before the souls of the heroic martyrs, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and comrades in the delegation respectfully bowed, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who devoted their youth and sacrificed for the independence of the nation, freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.
At the same time, we pledge to continue to make efforts to overcome all difficulties and challenges; uphold the glorious tradition of “Discipline and Unity”; firmly promote the great national unity bloc, further tighten the close relationship between the Party, the government and the people to build a prosperous country; and build Quang Ninh province into a model, rich, beautiful, civilized and modern province.
Dong Loc T-junction is a special national historical site, a red address for revolutionary tradition education. From April to October 1968, Dong Loc T-junction had to endure nearly 50,000 bombs of all kinds. On average, each square meter of land here had to endure more than 3 bombs, causing the ground to be deformed, rocks and soil to be plowed over and over again, bomb craters piled on bomb craters.
At the Dong Loc T-junction battlefield in the past, the number of people fighting and serving in combat at the peak time was up to 16,000 people, performing combat missions, fighting back enemy aircraft, providing security, clearing traffic, filling bomb craters, disarming unexploded bombs, making guiding posts, ensuring the safety of people and goods sent to the Southern battlefield.
To keep the traffic flow from North to South smooth, thousands of soldiers and people have fallen. Among them, we must mention the heroic sacrifice of 10 female youth volunteers of Squad 4, Company 552, Group 55 on July 24, 1968. They sacrificed their lives in the bombing of Dong Loc when they were very young.
On the same day, the delegation of Quang Ninh province visited the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh. Here, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and other comrades in the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party and people, Hero of National Liberation, Outstanding Cultural Celebrity; He devoted and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people around the world. Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation vowed to continuously study and follow his ideology, morality, and noble style, continue to strive to excellently fulfill all tasks, contributing to building Quang Ninh into a rich and beautiful province as Uncle Ho once instructed.
Also in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, the delegation of Quang Ninh province offered incense at Chung Son temple, where President Ho Chi Minh's ancestors are worshiped, and successfully ended the working program of the Quang Ninh delegation to offer flowers and incense at a number of cemeteries and historical sites in Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An provinces, towards the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.
