Participating in the gift-giving program were XV National Assembly deputies of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province: Mr. Pham Phu Binh - Standing Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union; and leaders of Nghia Dan, Quynh Luu districts and Hoang Mai town.

In Quynh Luu district, the provincial National Assembly delegation presented Tet gifts to 20 poor and disadvantaged households in Quynh Thang commune; each gift included 1 million VND in cash and in kind; and 50 million VND to support house construction for Ms. Nguyen Thi An's family, hamlet 9, Quynh Lam commune.

In Hoang Mai town, the provincial National Assembly delegation presented 50 million VND in support to build a house for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, village 10, Quynh Loc commune.

The source of support for Tet gifts for the poor and housing for people with housing difficulties in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town comes from contributions from National Assembly deputies of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and through mobilization and connection of National Assembly deputies of Nghe An delegation.

Also on the morning of February 1, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in Nghia Dan district and Hoang Mai town.

Accordingly, 60 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash, were given to 60 poor workers and laborers in enterprises in 2 localities.

On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, speaking at the program of giving Tet gifts to the poor, workers and laborers in especially difficult circumstances and supporting the poor to build houses, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation affirmed: All levels, sectors and the entire political system, business community, and all classes of people care about and take care of Tet for the poor and families in difficult circumstances, so that everyone and every family can have Tet, "no one is left behind".

Responding to the Letter calling for support and help for the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024 of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, in recent days, the National Assembly Delegation of the province as well as Party committees at all levels, authorities, organizations, business communities and people have had many meaningful activities to share with people in difficult circumstances in districts, cities and towns in the province.

This is a traditional cultural activity of love, "the rich help the poor" of the people and community to share, help, and support the poor and those in difficult circumstances to rise up and celebrate a more fulfilling and happier Lunar New Year.

Wishing the poor and families in difficult circumstances a Happy New Year, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province encouraged, shared and hoped that each person and each family would continue to strive to rise up, and affirmed that, with the responsibility and role of representing the voice of the people, during the working process, the National Assembly deputies will continue to accompany the political system and the social community to ensure that the people's lives are increasingly prosperous and happy.
