Welcoming and working with the delegation were Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan and representatives of provincial departments and branches.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Lech-lay Si-vi-lay expressed his excitement at the achievements of the twinned province of Quang Nam after 50 years of liberation. At the same time, he affirmed that the visit on Quang Nam's important day demonstrated the strong twinned relationship that the two localities have nurtured over many years.

“Generations of Sekong leaders have always followed every step of Quang Nam’s development. We see that today’s achievements are due to the leadership role of the Party Committee and the Quang Nam provincial government in effectively promoting potentials and strengths, and building strong solidarity among the people. This is an experience that we can absorb and flexibly apply in the process of building and developing Sekong,” said comrade Lech-lay Si-vi-lay.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Sekong Province, Lech-lay Si-vi-lay, expressed his belief that the sister relationship between Sekong - Quang Nam, Quang Nam - Sekong in the coming time will go into depth, becoming increasingly better, especially implementing well the cooperation minutes between the two provinces for the period 2024-2026 signed in 2024.

Expressing gratitude for the sentiments of the twinned Sekong province on the occasion of the province's important event, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet affirmed that today's achievements have the participation and support of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Phathet Lao, cadres, soldiers and ethnic groups of Laos for the Vietnamese revolution.

Talking to the delegation, Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet informed about new projects that are driving forces, promoting cooperation and economic development between Quang Nam and Sekong in the coming time. In particular, the Government has agreed to invest in upgrading National Highway 14D from Ben Giang to Nam Giang International Border Gate. Quang Nam has just started the 50,000-ton Port project at Chu Lai Truong Hai Port Industrial and Logistics Park, Tam Hiep Commune (Nui Thanh). This is the premise for goods from the southern Lao provinces to be brought to the nearest international level through Chu Lai Port.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also sent congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (March 22, 1955 - March 22, 2025) and expressed strong and comprehensive support for Laos's renovation. At the same time, he believed that, continuing the tradition of previous generations and promoting the achievements, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people would continue to gain many new and greater achievements in the renovation process, successfully implementing the goals of the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the 5-year socio-economic development plan. In particular, successfully organizing party congresses at all levels, towards the 12th National Congress of the Party in early 2026; successfully building a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos according to the socialist goal.
