Vietnamese rescue team discovers one more victim of earthquake in Myanmar

This is the new search area of ​​the working group in building number 5, the hospital area with a capacity of 1,000 people in Zabu Thiri town that almost completely collapsed in the earthquake.

After determining the location of the trapped victim, the working group mobilized a concrete cutter and used skills to begin pulling the victim out. The victim was identified as 14 years old, whose parents were local.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong, Captain of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police, informed that currently 6 officers and soldiers of Hanoi City Police, together with the search and rescue team of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, are making efforts to rescue people trapped in Myanmar.

After arriving in Myanmar, overcoming hot weather and difficulties in accessing the scene, officers and soldiers in the search and rescue mission of the Ministry of Public Security overcame all difficulties and quickly adapted to carry out the mission.

Currently, due to the earthquake, the entire area has had its electricity and water cut off. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (Hanoi City Police) has coordinated with other forces to search and rescue 2 motels in the capital Naypyitaw.
