Representatives of Green i-Park Joint Stock Company gave an overview of the geographical location, advantages in infrastructure quality and policy mechanisms, as well as the progress of attracting investment in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park. This is an industrial park oriented by Thai Binh province to attract high-tech projects, production according to the circular chain for high added value and environmental friendliness. Up to now, Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park has attracted over 20 domestic investors and foreign investors from countries and territories such as Korea, Singapore, China, Taiwan with a total registered investment capital of about 1.3 billion USD, of which 6 projects have been completed and put into operation. Since the beginning of the year, Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park has attracted 4 projects with a total investment of about 80 million USD, raising the occupancy rate to 45% of the area. Since its establishment, Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park has focused on implementing and orienting growth solutions towards developing into a smart and sustainable industrial park.
Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Zone Management Board, gave an overview of Thai Binh Economic Zone, investment incentives, handling administrative procedures according to the "5 on-site" plan, approving 4 infrastructure investment projects, and projects under construction. From 2021-2023, investment attraction in the Economic Zone reached over 104,000 billion VND, FDI reached nearly 3.7 billion USD. The appearance of projects by the world's leading investors in Thai Binh Economic Zone such as: Green i-Park, Pegavision, Lotes, Compal, Greenworks, VSIP, Tokyo gas, Kyuden... has put Thai Binh on the map of the most attractive investment destinations in Vietnam for the past 3 consecutive years.
Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, introduced the work of attracting investment in infrastructure development in Thai Binh.
Tra Vinh provincial leaders also informed about the location, geography, potential and development status, and investment attraction results in Dinh An Economic Zone with a total area of over 39,000 hectares.
Members of the working delegation of the Standing Committee of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee exchanged and highly appreciated the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thai Binh province for their drastic and creative actions in implementation, promptly removing difficulties to establish and effectively operate Thai Binh Economic Zone; at the same time, they exchanged experiences in site clearance, supporting businesses in procedures, selecting investors, support mechanisms, and rolling out the red carpet to attract investors...
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized: Thai Binh and Tra Vinh provinces have two quite similar economic zones. The meeting is an opportunity for both sides to learn and be determined to develop the economic zones.
He affirmed: Industrial development is a dream, a great aspiration but to realize it is extremely difficult and arduous. Thai Binh established the Economic Zone while doing and gaining experience. With great determination, the drastic participation from the province to the grassroots and infrastructure investors, promoting propaganda, persuasion to create consensus, especially in the work of site clearance, gradually removing difficulties and obstacles to build and develop the Thai Binh Economic Zone, achieving positive results, contributing to promoting the province's industry in particular and the province's socio-economic development in general.
The Provincial Party Secretary also said: Thai Binh has applied the highest incentive policy according to the law to attract investment in Thai Binh Economic Zone, including Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park. In addition, the province also has its own incentives such as administrative procedures, human resource training, and other technical infrastructure for infrastructure investors and secondary enterprises... which has brought confidence to enterprises.
He congratulated Tra Vinh province for effectively implementing key projects in the province, which is the foundation for Dinh An Economic Zone and the province's industrial parks to develop strongly; at the same time, he hoped that Tra Vinh and Thai Binh provinces would continue to strengthen and consolidate the close relationship of "loyalty and affection" over 65 years of twinning, accompanying each other in the socio-economic development of the two provinces.
Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tra Vinh province, spoke highly of the results that Thai Binh province has achieved, especially in attracting infrastructure investors to industrial parks in Thai Binh Economic Zone, especially Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.
The Secretary of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee hopes that through this practical working session, the members of the working delegation of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will learn a lot of experience in operating and attracting investment, and developing the province's Dinh An Economic Zone.
