A delegation of 23 doctors from Hanoi Medical University Hospital came to work at district hospitals.

This is the largest delegation of doctors ever sent by Hanoi Medical University Hospital to provide professional support to Lao Cai.

Well-trained doctors with high professional qualifications and clinical experience in all specialties such as: Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Emergency and resuscitation... will be assigned to 7 District General Hospitals and 1 District Medical Center.

At hospitals, doctors will directly examine and treat patients, and at the same time share, deploy, and instruct new techniques for medical staff, contributing to improving professional capacity for district hospitals, helping people in mountainous areas enjoy high-quality medical services, limiting referrals, and reducing the burden on upper-level hospitals.

This activity is within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Hanoi Medical University Hospital and lower-level hospitals of Lao Cai province that was signed previously.

Accordingly, Hanoi Medical University Hospital will provide professional support according to the proposals of medical units in accordance with the conditions and actual situation of the locality, including the following areas: Training; Technology transfer; Remote and on-site medical examination and treatment.
