Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios could recreate last year's final if both reach the quarterfinals of Wimbledon 2023.
Djokovic's draw is considered relatively easy, as he has faced virtually no grass court specialists in the early rounds. Nole will meet Pedro Cachin in his opening match, and is likely to face another Argentinian player in the third round, Tomas Martin Etcheverry – who just reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros. Between these two opponents lies a tougher challenge in the second round, either Jordan Thompson or Brandon Nakashima.
Awaiting Nole in the fourth round are likely Lorenzo Musetti or Hubert Hurkacz. In the quarterfinals, the world number two could face Kyrgios, Andrey Rublev, or Felix Auger-Aliassime. The difficulty could increase in the semifinals, with Jannik Sinner or Taylor Fritz, who reached the quarterfinals last year.

The draw for top seed Carlos Alcaraz is tougher. The Spaniard will face Jeremy Chardy in the first round and is likely to meet Arthur Rinderknech in the second. Both French players possess strong serves and forehands. Rinderknech was the only player to take a set from Alcaraz at the Queen's Club Championships last week.
If he reaches the third round, Alcaraz will most likely face the 25th seed Nicolas Jarry – a player with a similar playing style to the two mentioned above, but with superior power and accuracy in his shots. His opponent in the fourth round could be Alex De Minaur or Alexander Zverev, both currently in good form. If he reaches the quarterfinals, Alcaraz will have to face Holger Rune or last week's Stuttgart champion Frances Tiafoe. Sharing the same semi-final bracket as Alcaraz are top seeds like Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The Tsitsipas bracket promises to deliver exciting matchups right from the early rounds. The Greek player will face former US Open champion Dominic Thiem in his opening match. The winner of this match will likely meet former world number one Andy Murray in the second round. This bracket also includes Ben Shelton in the third round and Cameron Norrie likely in the fourth round.
The women's singles also featured many exciting matches from the opening round, with the highlight being the clash between five-time Wimbledon women's singles champion Venus Williams and former world number three Elina Svitolina. Coco Gauff will face her fellow American and former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin. Top contenders Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina both face tough opponents in the opening round, Lin Zhu and Shelby Rogers respectively.
The main draw of Wimbledon begins on July 3rd. The women's singles final is on July 15th, while the men's singles final follows the day after. Novak Djokovic and Elena Rybakina are the defending men's and women's singles champions, respectively.
