Yonsei International Aesthetics Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City has had its operations suspended.

Accordingly, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health issued a decision to impose administrative penalties on Yonsei International Aesthetics Company Limited (Yonsei Company, address 51A Tran Quoc Toan Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3).

This company was fined for violating regulations by "Using drugs, substances, and equipment to interfere with the human body (surgery, procedures, interventions involving injections, radiation, waves, burning, or other invasive interventions) to alter skin color, shape, weight, or defects of body parts (skin, nose, eyes, lips, face, chest, abdomen, buttocks, and other body parts); tattooing, permanent makeup, and embroidery on the skin using injectable anesthetics at facilities other than hospitals with cosmetic surgery departments or other medical facilities with a scope of professional practice in cosmetic surgery."

In addition, Yonsei TP Company also committed a series of other violations such as: Using medical equipment without registration or import permits; Trading goods of unknown origin (a shipment of 1 box of lidocaine cream); Operating without a sign as required; Failing to display prices for medical examination and treatment services; Failing to maintain patient records as required by law.

With a series of violations, the Inspectorate of the Department fined the company 113 million VND. In addition, it imposed supplementary penalties including suspending the facility's medical examination and treatment activities until it obtains a medical examination and treatment license and its practitioners have medical practice certificates; and confiscating the infringing items.

Additionally, during this period, the Inspectorate of the Department of Health also fined Korean Star Cosmetic Surgery Hospital Co., Ltd. (address: 781/C9 Le Hong Phong Extended, Ward 12, District 10) 8 million VND for violating the regulation: "Practitioners not registering to practice medicine as required by law".
