Police request to provide Aqua City project documents, investor loses nearly 1 billion VND/day

No Va Real Estate Investment Group Corporation (Novaland, code: NVL) has just responded in writing to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department requesting the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province to provide documents and files related to the Aqua City urban area. Aqua City was once affirmed by Novaland Chairman Bui Thanh Nhon as "a key project, vital to Novaland's survival".

The project is invested by Aqua City LLC - a subsidiary of Novaland. Aqua City LLC has had two consecutive years of losses since the announcement. Last year, Aqua City lost more than VND359 billion, equivalent to a loss of nearly VND1 billion per day.

As of December 31, 2023, Aqua City's equity reached VND 1,131 billion. The debt/equity ratio was 10.09 times, corresponding to a debt of about VND 11,400 billion. Of which, the outstanding bond balance was nearly VND 2,400 billion. (See details)
