In the film, Tue Minh plays a Vietnamese girl who moves to Korea to live. Suddenly, an incident occurs that forces her to seek help from the police. This is the key character that helps the police track down the culprit and solve previous cases.
Although she is only a supporting character, she is a key character that helps solve problems in the film, so Tue Minh appears quite a lot. In particular, most of her scenes have interactions with the two main actors, Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in, on set. Therefore, the actress has observed and learned a lot of experience from the talented Korean cast.
Talking about the opportunity to work with Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in, Tue Minh excitedly shared: "I thought they were big stars so there would be certain standards of contact, I would probably have to keep a great distance. But no, when I met them, I realized that my worries were meaningless because they were extremely cute and enthusiastic."
During the filming process in harsh weather conditions in the neighboring country, Tue Minh said she was touched by the care and respect that the Korean crew showed her. In addition to being prepared with warm clothes, heat pads, and heating bags, she also had a private tent to rest in while waiting for filming with many heating lamps around.
"The crew and director Ryoo Seung-wan always make me feel very warm about their care and respect for me," Tue Minh shared memories with the Korean film crew on set.
In Korea, Guess the Crab was recorded to have grossed over 54 billion Won (equivalent to 1,036 billion VND) with 5.7 million tickets sold in just 12 days.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film's global total has now surpassed $40 million.
The film officially opens in Vietnam from September 27.
