This time, Huynh Anh plays the role of police officer Tuan, who is intelligent, strong, brave, courageous and fearless in the face of crime. However, Tuan is afraid of... needles. This comes from a trauma from the past, when he witnessed his biological mother being murdered. The mental shock caused him to completely lose his memory of his childhood.
More than 20 years later, Tuan became a police officer and took on the position of Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department of the City Police. In his heart, Tuan always longed for an opportunity to investigate and find the truth behind his mother's death.
Tuan is in charge of investigating the case of Vuong - the leader of the Cityboys - a group of rich, playboy, and perverts. The investigation is difficult because the suspects are all young masters with family backing.
In episode 15, the police are urgently investigating and identifying information about the person who murdered Binh - the manager of the bar where Vuong (Tuan Anh) was killed.
Having played youthful roles such as: Young master, young inexperienced men, so when Huynh Anh played the role of a policeman, it surprised many people.
At the beginning of the film, there were opinions that he was not suitable for the role of a police officer because his face was too "young", his acting lacked depth, and his expressions were unnatural. However, with his acting constantly changing expressions, getting more and more into the role, Huynh Anh gradually changed those "prejudices"...
Reporters contacted Huynh Anh, the actor shared about the role: "This is the first time I have played a police officer. For an actor to have experience playing a role in a new profession, he must prepare basic knowledge.
I once had to ask Mr. Bao Anh, one of the actors familiar with the image of a police officer on the small screen, "When you are a police officer, what kind of work and actions should you avoid?". Mr. Bao Anh advised me that there are taboos that I should not do such as: First, folding my arms in front of my chest, second, clasping my hands behind my back, and third, placing my hands on my hips.
Those actions are not nice, although they are just small details, they still show the demeanor of a police officer.

In response to the audience's sincere comments about his role, Huynh Anh always reads the comments carefully, whether they are praise or criticism. Because they are valuable lessons for him to learn from for his next roles.
" Right from the script, the character Tuan was a good police officer with outstanding crime-solving skills, so transforming into this character was very difficult.
The character Tuan has hidden feelings, he has a mysterious lost memory. To find my own acting style to portray the past, to show the toughness of a police officer, and to have the balance to think thoroughly and accurately, I had to practice a lot at home.
Even though I encountered many difficulties during filming, I was not sad or offended if someone did not like my acting, " the actor added.
Huynh Anh said that he was not upset when receiving mixed opinions about his acting (Photo: Character provided).
According to Huynh Anh, Black Medicine has many action scenes, chasing criminals, so he often has to run far and run a lot to serve the scenes. He also often suffers from injuries and cramps.
The actor said: " To prepare for such scenes, I had to rehearse the action scenes with the entire stunt team. There was a fast and extremely impressive scene in an abandoned house with a ceiling only about 2m high, in the middle of the house was a big fire. I had to film a scene where I fought alone with 4 people with a dense smoke density.
Filming for such a long time in an oxygen-deprived environment was really difficult, but I think it was a memorable experience in my acting career."
