More than 10 years playing the role of police
Bao Anh is no longer a strange name to audiences who love Vietnamese television dramas. In the newly aired series Black Medicine , he plays Tuyen - the captain of the criminal police team. The character has a comprehensive and disciplined investigative style, and is the one who always takes responsibility for all the team's mistakes.

Sharing the reason for continuing to play a police officer in the new film, the actor said: "Before filming Black Medicine , I received an invitation to play a pretty good role. But I did not hesitate to give up that role to once again play a police officer."
Every time he takes on a role, Bao Anh often asks himself how to make his police characters different. The actor likes to challenge himself and renew himself from things that are old and familiar to the audience. He said: "Being a police officer is not just about solving and solving crimes, each police role has its own unique features."
Bao Anh (born in 1981) came to art after completing an acting course at the Television Film Production Center - Vietnam Television (VFC). With his handsome, masculine face, he received many invitations to act in films, often taking on roles with a serious, dignified demeanor.
After more than 10 years in the profession, the actor is familiar to audiences through his image as a police officer on screen.
Before Black Pharma, Bao Anh played the role of a police officer in many films such as: The Judge, The Labyrinth, Crocodile File, Mirror Mask...
He once made an impression when playing the role of Bao "ngau" - one of the close henchmen of "boss" Phan Quan (played by People's Artist Hoang Dung).
Because of his secret background, this character always makes the audience speculate and anxiously follow his psychological developments. In the last episode, his identity is revealed, Bao "ngau" is the undercover police officer in the film, the one who arrested Phan Quan and put Luong Bong (played by People's Artist Trung Anh) in jail.
In 2019, Bao Anh participated in Maze , playing the role of Major Tran Dinh Quyet - deputy head of the criminal investigation team. Bao Anh's character is dedicated to his job, but sometimes too principled, ready to confront the views of Captain Khanh (Hong Dang). However, with his professional ability, he and Captain Khanh helped the team find important clues to solve the case.
After Maze , he continued to play the role of the head of the police investigation department in the movie Crocodile File . The movie revolves around the police force's crime-solving against underground forces in society. With many years of experience playing the role of a police officer, Bao Anh did not encounter many difficulties in portraying this image.
When participating in the film Mirror Mask, Bao Anh took on the role of Tung - the captain of the serious crime squad of the investigation agency. Although he continued to play the role of a police officer, for Bao Anh this was a youthful, dynamic and new image.
To prepare for the role, Bao Anh underwent 10 days of rigorous weight loss. He forced himself to change all his habits, from eating, sleeping, and exercising. The actor said that on the first day of filming, he lost 8kg, reaching a weight of 72kg. Throughout the filming process, he continued to exercise to lose the desired amount of weight, suitable for the character's image.
A happy life with a wife 11 years younger
Besides his successful career, Bao Anh currently has a peaceful and fulfilling life with his wife and children. Born in the inner city of Hanoi, since 2008, the actor has chosen to return to his hometown to live, away from the noisy city. He once said that once he wanted to quit his job because of pressure, when he returned to his mother's hometown in Quoc Oai district, he fell in love with the peaceful atmosphere there. After that, Bao Anh decided to live in the countryside.
On his personal page, the actor often shares his living space. He has a large garden where he can grow many kinds of vegetables and fruit trees. Bao Anh also has simple hobbies such as raising pigs, picking, etc. When he is not busy with work, he spends time taking care of his wife and children, and does not like drinking or hanging out with friends.
Bao Anh's wife (born in 1992) is 11 years younger than him. According to the actor, he met his wife when she was 16-17 years old. Despite the age gap, both of them know how to give in, so their married life is quite peaceful.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Bao Anh gave many "winged" words to his wife, affirming that his success had support from the rear: "If it weren't for my wife being a solid rear, taking care of everything at home, and taking great care of the children, I probably wouldn't have dared to participate in projects so continuously. So my success is definitely the success of my whole family."
After 10 years of marriage, Bao Anh and his wife have two daughters and are preparing to welcome their third baby. The actor often shares affectionate words with his wife and beautiful pictures with his family on his personal page. He told Dan Tri reporter: "I feel comfortable when I am free to do what I like and talk about what I love."
Bao Anh said that behind his quiet and grumpy appearance on screen, in real life he is a good father and always tries to be better every day. His current life is gentle, happy, with a career, family and an ideal living space.
