Giang Vo Duong is an area for practicing martial arts, teaching military tactics, and performing high-level military exercises of feudal dynasties in the ancient Thang Long citadel. The relic of Giang Vo Duong in the Later Le Dynasty is located in the areas of Giang Vo, Kim Ma, and Ngoc Khanh wards in today's Ba Dinh district.
The lighting system around Ngoc Khanh Lake is designed to resemble soldiers practicing martial arts with weapons such as bows, crossbows, swords, spears...
The locality also planted additional trees to ensure a density of 5m/tree, tied tree pots with natural stone, installed trash cans, public toilets, and pedestrian street gates.
Public transport such as buses, bicycles, and electric bicycles for rent are all guaranteed and convenient for people in need.
New public toilets have been built around Ngoc Khanh Lake. It is expected that Ba Dinh District will pilot a walking tour from 7pm on Friday to midnight on Sunday every week. After the pilot period, it will consider organizing walking tours 7 days a week.
