In order to increase the utility as well as create maximum convenience for customers in the process of using services, recently Quang Ninh Electricity Company has enhanced automation in collecting meter readings for customers.

Statistics up to the present time, the Company has installed over 444,500 electronic meters out of a total of over 462,000 electricity customers (reaching a rate of over 96%).
Accordingly, every month, when the meter reading period comes, the customer's electricity consumption is updated directly on the Electricity industry's server system, ensuring accuracy, reducing errors and increasing labor productivity. In particular, customers can also proactively look up the amount of electricity used in the month directly through the "EVNNPC CSKH" App provided by the Northern Power Corporation.
The use of electronic meters also helps Quang Ninh Electricity Company reduce the number of workers recording meter readings, contributing to increasing labor productivity. At the same time, with the frequency of regular data collection, it has helped the unit easily monitor the operating parameters of each measuring point, parameters of current, voltage, full load, overload, phase deviation, etc. to have timely handling plans, minimize incidents, ensure safe power supply and improve reliability in power supply.
Currently, Quang Ninh Electricity Company is striving with determination to complete the goal of installing 100% of electronic meters in 2024 for all electricity customers.
