In order to strengthen connection, cooperation in building tours, routes and developing tourism products in Quang Tri province, this afternoon, December 23, the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Tourism Association organized a forum to promote and develop tourism products in Quang Tri province with the theme "Connection, cooperation and action".
Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Nguyen Duc Tan said that with its special geographical location, Quang Tri is a bridge between the two regions of the country, possessing great potential in tourism development. The locality not only has unique historical and cultural relics but also possesses beautiful landscapes, from long coastlines with cool green beaches to primeval forests, famous revolutionary relics such as Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Vinh Moc Tunnels, traditional craft village systems and unique cultural festivals...
However, up to now, the tourism product system of Quang Tri is still modest, not exploiting the resources and potential for tourism development in a proportionate and effective manner. Therefore, the forum for promoting and developing tourism products of the province aims to create opportunities for organizations, businesses, tourism cooperatives and local authorities to discuss, share and find solutions to strengthen connections and cooperation in tourism development in the area.
At the forum, experts, state management agencies, businesses, and tourism organizations inside and outside the province discussed and proposed many solutions to strengthen connections and cooperation in building inter-regional and inter-provincial tours and routes, helping to exploit existing tourism routes more effectively.
Sharing experiences in operating and developing unique and effective tourism products, especially experiences in attracting international tourists; proposing tourism promotion strategies, building brands and orienting sustainable development in Quang Tri tourism development; introducing new tours, routes and tourism products...
In addition, the forum brought many publications and typical OCOP products of the province with lists of projects calling for investment to introduce, promote, and boost cooperation opportunities and develop local economy and tourism. Here, businesses and tourism organizations inside and outside the province signed a number of cooperation and association agreements in promoting, advertising, and developing Quang Tri tourism.
