According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in the Southern region today (August 25) is cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with some places having heavy rain. It is forecasted that in the last week of August, there will be a significant increase in rain in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region. There is a possibility of widespread rain with moderate to heavy rain in some places. Beware of tornadoes, lightning, localized heavy rain and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

“Total rainfall is approximately the average of many years in the same period, commonly from 80 - 130mm. The average temperature of the region is 0.2 - 0.7 degrees Celsius higher than the average of many years in the same period,” the Southern Hydrometeorological Station forecast.
