It is forecasted that from November 11 to December 10, storms/tropical depressions in the East Sea will likely be higher than the average of many years. In particular, cold air in the Northern region will be weaker.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has just released its monthly climate trend assessment (from November 11 to December 10). Accordingly, the average temperature in the Northern and North Central regions is generally 1-1.5 degrees Celsius higher than the average of many years; the Central and South Central regions, the Central Highlands and the South are 0.5-1 degrees higher than the average of many years in the same period.
Also during this period, total rainfall in the North was generally 10-30% lower than the average of many years; in the Central region it was 10-30% higher; in the Central Highlands and the South it was approximately the same as the average of many years in the same period.
Notably, according to meteorological experts, during the period from November 11 to December 10, storms/tropical depressions in the East Sea are likely to be higher than the average of many years; impacts on Vietnam's mainland are likely to be approximately the same as the average of many years in the same period (average of many years in the East Sea: 1.4 storms; landfall: 0.7 storms).
In particular, cold air activity in the Northern region during this period is likely to be weaker than the average of many years.

The Central Highlands and the South will also experience showers and thunderstorms at the end of November, with some days having moderate to heavy rain. In December, the region is less likely to experience widespread heavy rains.
Warning, during the period from November 11 to December 10, dangerous weather phenomena such as storms/tropical depressions, cold air, thunderstorms, and tornadoes at sea are likely to cause strong winds and large waves affecting activities in the East Sea area.
In addition, heavy rain, strong thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind can greatly affect production and people's activities, especially in the Central Central region to the south.
