In response to the requirements and tasks of local military and defense, the emulation movement "Determination to Win" of the armed forces of Hai Duong City has directed the activities of officers and soldiers to improve the quality of performing tasks, especially training tasks, combat readiness, drills, competitions, sports events, and building a comprehensively strong "exemplary, typical" unit.
The unit strives to successfully implement the policy of "One focus, three breakthroughs", launching a movement to promote initiatives and improve techniques; investing in labor days to build, repair, and upgrade training grounds and training grounds, and renewing teaching aids for training and exercises.
Hai Duong City's armed forces focused on breaking through difficulties and being creative in performing their tasks. Overcoming difficulties in training grounds and training grounds for militia and self-defense forces and mobile militia, the unit closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to direct the Military Commands of communes and wards to proactively contact and borrow land for training grounds.
Instead of training militia and self-defense forces in each commune and ward as before, the unit has divided the communes and wards into 3 clusters for training. Reducing the number of training grounds will help focus resources on consolidation, construction and facilitate the organization and inspection of training.
Thanks to that, the quality of local militia and self-defense training has been increasingly improved. The participation rate is always over 95%, and the test results of all contents are good and excellent.
Many models and emulation movements of "Determined to Win" have been widely deployed by the armed forces of Hai Duong City in all aspects of work, gradually creating changes and improving the quality of task performance. Effectively deploying the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in association with emulation movements and campaigns, especially the emulation movement "The Army joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"; the program "Warm comradeship, joining hands to nurture green shoots"...
Many collectives and individuals achieved high results in competitions and sports events organized by superiors. Typically, in 2023, the City Military Command won first prize in the Propaganda Contest on promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, resolutely fighting against individualism in the new situation. In 2024, the unit won first prize in the 2024 Hai Duong Province Mass Arts Festival for Armed Forces, Youth and Students organized by the Provincial Military Command...
Based on the results in performing its tasks, in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the Hai Duong City Military Command was awarded the title of Determined to Win Unit by the Military Region 3 Command. In 2022, the unit was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense. The Hai Duong City Military Party Committee was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Party Committee for 3 consecutive years for excellently completing its tasks. In 2024, the unit was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Military Region 3 Command.
The Hai Duong City Military Command is considered a bright spot in the emulation movement "Determination to Win" of the armed forces of Hai Duong province in the period 2019-2024.
