The highest floor score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy is 23.5

Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy accepts applications from candidates who score from 19 to 23.5 points in three high school graduation exams.

The majors that accept applications from 23.5 points are Medicine and Dentistry in both methods of considering high school graduation exam scores and admission combined with international English certificates. These two majors only consider the B00 combination (Math, Chemistry, Biology).

Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy both have a floor score of 21. The remaining majors accept applications from 19 points.

This year, the total enrollment target of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy is more than 2,400. Of which, Pharmacy has the highest enrollment target with 560, followed by Medicine with 400.

In addition to block B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), for the first time, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy will enroll students using the A00 block combination (Math, Physics, Chemistry) for the majors of Preventive Medicine, Nutrition, Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Dental Prosthetics, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology and Rehabilitation Technology. Last year, only the Pharmacy major recruited students using the two combinations A00 and B00.

Both groups are considered for admission together, but the quota for group A00 accounts for 25% of the industry quota (except for Pharmacy).

The school still maintains four admission methods: Considering the 2023 high school graduation exam scores; Considering a combination of graduation exam scores with an international English certificate from 5.0 or 6.0 IELTS and equivalent, depending on the major; Direct admission; University preparatory candidates.

Last year, the benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy was from 19.05 to 27.55. The major with the highest input was Medicine. Dentistry still had the second highest benchmark score - 27.

If using the method of considering high school graduation exam results combined with international English certificate preliminary selection, candidates registering for these two majors will be applied with lower admission scores, respectively 26.6 and 26.25.
