The University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi has just announced the admission benchmark based on high school graduation exam scores, ranging from 22.5 to 27.8 points.
Highest IT Benchmark
Accordingly, information technology has the highest benchmark score of 27.8 points, equivalent to more than 9 points/subject, followed by computer science with 27.58 points, and artificial intelligence with 27.12 points.
The agricultural technology industry has the lowest benchmark score of 22.5 points.
Last year, the admission score for 17 majors/training programs of the University of Technology based on high school graduation exam results ranged from 22 to 27.85 points, of which the highest admission score was for information technology.
The next highest standard scores are information technology oriented to the Japanese market with 27.5 points, two majors of computer science and computer engineering with 27.25 points, artificial intelligence with 27.2 points, and control and automation engineering with 27.1 points.

School gives new students laptops
Accordingly, in 2024, the school plans to recruit 2,960 students for 3 fields, including computers and information technology, engineering technology, and engineering (an increase of 1,110 students compared to last year).
This year is also the first year the school opens a new major in industrial design and graphics at the bachelor's level, with a total enrollment of 160 students.
According to the school, the highlight of this year's enrollment is that for first-year students studying at Hoa Lac campus, 100% of students will study according to a modern model combining specialized knowledge teaching and soft skills training, participating in club activities and sports and cultural activities; at the same time, 100% of students will be arranged accommodation in dormitories near the campus.
In particular, this year will be the first year that 100% of new students studying at Hoa Lac will receive gifts from the school equivalent to a laptop (about 15 million VND) to meet their learning needs.
From the second year onwards, students will return to study at Cau Giay campus.
Regarding tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year, the school plans to collect 32 million VND/year for the majors of control and automation engineering, artificial intelligence, industrial design and graphics, and agricultural technology; the remaining majors have tuition fees of 40 million VND/year.
