According to Neowin , if you're wondering whether to spend money on Blizzard's latest action role-playing game Diablo IV for desktop, then from today until November 28th will be a good time to try it out. Specifically, the publisher is allowing everyone to play for free on the Steam platform until the end of November.
Players will be able to explore Diablo IV 's dungeons, adventure and fight evil forces in Sanctuary, and level up their characters to level 20 during the free-to-play period. As part of the Steam Autumn Sale, players can even get 40% off all editions of the game.

The game is currently in the midst of its second season of content, but on December 5th, a new in-game event called Abattoir of Zir will take place for six weeks. Then on December 12th, Diablo IV will launch the Midwinter Blight for the holidays, which is expected to last for three weeks. During that time, Sanctuary will be transformed into a snowy landscape and players will have to be on the lookout for new dangers lurking around them.
Earlier this month at BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard announced the first major paid expansion for Diablo IV. Called Vessel of Hatred, the upcoming expansion will take place in a new region called Nahantu. It will also introduce a new class and is expected to launch in late 2024.
