Below are instructions for businesses and organizations in Hanoi to supplement and update administrative boundaries on business registration certificates.
According to Resolution No. 1286/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Hanoi City in the 2023-2025 period, effective from January 1, 2025, Hanoi has 20 districts, towns and cities arranged with commune-level administrative units.
All enterprises subject to restructuring operating in Hanoi are required to adjust the content on their business registration certificates (adjust changes to the enterprise's head office address, information of the legal representative, company owner, and member companies).
In particular, in case the taxpayer is an enterprise operating under the Enterprise Law, the change will be made at the business registration agency.
In case the taxpayer is an organization operating under specialized laws, not operating under the Enterprise Law, the change will be made at the tax authority.
To support businesses in implementation, the Hanoi City Tax Department recommends that businesses and organizations in Hanoi change their address information according to the regulations on administrative boundaries in Resolution No. 1286 as follows:
In case the taxpayer is an organization, the application must be submitted in form 08-MST as prescribed in Circular 86/2024/TT-BTC. The application must be submitted at the one-stop department of the tax department/tax branch directly managing it.
