Türkiye "criticizes" the United Nations for "ineffective" operations as Gaza conflict escalates

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on November 12 criticized the United Nations (UN) and the Security Council (UNSC) for failing to act in the Gaza crisis, accusing the organization of being "ineffective" and calling for reforms to the permanent membership and veto system.
