Proposed policy for teachers' remuneration in the suburbs

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just requested the Departments of Education and Training to advise the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and 21 districts to review the arrangement and use of teachers in schools, ensuring the right and sufficient number of teachers in all subjects according to regulations.

Localities need to overcome the shortage or arrangement and use of teachers not suitable for their training majors; can implement plans to transfer and second teachers from places with surplus to places with shortage, flexibly deploy many solutions to ensure enough teachers for all subjects.

Regarding recruitment, localities proactively develop plans to have a source of teachers in the locality, including new training, retraining, bridging training, advanced training... suitable to the specific conditions of the unit.

In particular, there should be preferential policies for candidates from other provinces and cities participating in recruiting teachers in suburban districts to increase recruitment attractiveness, especially in the subjects of English, Information Technology, Fine Arts, Music, and PhysicalEducation .
