Regarding geography, teacher Phan Thi Xuyen, head of the geography group at Bui Thi Xuan High School (District 1), commented that with 40 multiple choice questions, the geography exam had theoretical content completely within the 12th grade geography program, with 2 questions on data tables and charts using data from the 11th grade program.

The theory part has 21 questions, the subject-specific skills part has 19 questions. The questions are arranged according to the level from recognition, understanding to application and high application to help candidates avoid confusion and loss of composure when taking the test. At the same time, the content and requirements of the exam ensure 2 levels suitable for the goals of the high school graduation exam and university entrance exam.

The test is differentiated. Students who do well on geography skills and basic theoretical knowledge can get 7 to 7.5 points.

In general, this year's exam is not too difficult, but getting a perfect score is not easy.

Candidates who want to get a higher score need to do well in the last 10 questions in the application and advanced application sections (from question 71 to question 80). These questions require candidates to not only have a solid grasp of the theoretical knowledge of the lesson but also have good logical thinking, extensive social knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Teacher Phan Thi Xuyen commented that the questions using the Vietnam Geography Atlas this year are similar to last year, the questions do not specify the page number but the name of the atlas page that students need to use. Therefore, to choose the correct and quick answer, candidates need to grasp the content of the atlas pages or quickly read the table of contents page. This part was confusing for candidates last year, but this year the reference questions clearly show it, so students will probably do well.

For the graph and data table section, candidates need to remember the formula for calculating the natural population growth rate and have the processing skills to draw accurate conclusions. In addition, candidates need to master the distinguishing features of the graph types to identify and choose the right graph.

The graduation exam for Civic Education has a true-false section.

Regarding the Civic Education exam, Ms. Pham Thi Luyen, head of the subject group at Bui Thi Xuan High School (District 1), said that the structure of the sample exam was correct. Of which, 90% was knowledge from the 12th grade program and 10% was knowledge from the 11th grade program. If students studied the lesson, they would get 8 points or more.

There are some legal situation questions in the exam that require candidates to read the exam carefully and identify the correct requirements to avoid unfortunate mistakes. Difficult questions often fall into lessons 2, 4, 6, 7 of the 12th grade program. The knowledge of 11th grade is mainly recognition and understanding.

Ms. Luyen also said that compared to last year, this year's Civic Education exam has some questions that are true or false.
