For young cadres to practice and mature

Mr. Sung A Mang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Tong commune, received trees that he connected with a charity organization to give to people in the commune.

Sa Tong Commune (Muong Cha District) today, although still facing difficulties in terms of transport infrastructure, road facilities, electricity, schools, stations, etc., people's awareness and thinking have changed a lot. People understand the value of the environment and do a good job in developing and protecting forests; understand the value of applying technical advances to agricultural production, etc. To achieve these positive changes, there is an active contribution from the young Party Secretary Sung A Mang. Having held many positions and been transferred and rotated in many different positions, such as: Vice Chairman of Ma Thi Ho Commune, Deputy Chief Inspector of the District and now Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Tong Commune, he always completes the assigned tasks.

Mr. Mang shared: Realizing that forests have great value, not only protecting the land, regulating the climate but also having economic value, at the end of June, I connected with volunteer organizations to support over 66,000 trees including: Sao do, lim xanh, giổi hat, giổi nang, cinnamon, sa moc... for the people of Sa Tong commune. Currently, the forest coverage rate of the whole commune is only 36%, so the socialization of plant varieties will bring many benefits; including economic benefits, helping people gradually eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

Seeing that the commune's geographical location is favorable for developing livestock farming, young cadre Sung A Mang has oriented people to replicate the group cow raising model. Up to now, the whole commune has over 30 households implementing this model, which has initially shown its effectiveness. "Through programs, projects, economic development models... not only help people in the commune in particular, the whole district in general to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; but more importantly, it changes the mindset and way of thinking in economic development. I hope that in the future, people, especially the poor, will try harder, enhance their role and position in the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, so that there will no longer be a situation of waiting and relying on the policies of the Party and the State" - Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Tong Commune Sung A Mang confided.

Promoting the youth, especially in the period of innovation, each cadre after being trusted, mobilized and transferred to the grassroots by the Party Committee has basically demonstrated their mettle, dared to think, dared to do, dared to face challenges to successfully complete the assigned tasks. From the beginning of the term to the end of 2022, Party Committees and Party organizations at all levels have transferred 86 cadres. Of which, at the district level, 50 comrades were transferred to communes, wards and towns; 5 comrades were transferred from communes to districts; 10 comrades were transferred from one commune to another... Notably, those who were transferred were basically young cadres.

According to the records and assessments of Party committees at all levels, in recent years, the work of rotating cadres, including young cadres, has been basically implemented closely, effectively, and in accordance with procedures and regulations. The majority of rotated cadres are confident in their work, voluntarily practicing their moral qualities, lifestyle, political qualities, professional skills, closely attached to the grassroots, accumulating practical experience, and quickly approaching new working conditions and environments. From there, they actively contribute to helping localities and units stabilize their organizational apparatus, cadres, leaders, and directions to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security; and are recognized, agreed, and supported by cadres, Party members, and the People.

Not only focusing on the work of mobilizing and rotating through terms and from practice, over the years, Party committees and authorities at all levels have also paid special attention to the work of training and fostering cadres, especially young cadres in terms of expertise, political theory, professional titles, job positions... In the past 3 years, the whole province has had nearly 30,000 cadres participating in training and fostering classes; in general, after training and fostering, the qualifications of the cadre team all meet the prescribed standards.

Paying much attention to the young generation, in recent times, from the Central to the local levels, there have been many policies to create conditions for the young generation to contribute and mature. Typical examples include the Project to select 600 outstanding young intellectuals with university degrees to become vice chairmen of commune People's Committees in 64 poor districts; Resolution 25-NQ/TW of the 10th Party Central Committee on "Strengthening the Party's leadership over youth work in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization". In recent years, the Prime Minister, central ministries, branches, and provincial People's Committee Chairmen have also organized dialogue forums with young people to remove difficulties and create favorable conditions for young people to promote their roles, responsibilities, contributions, and maturity in the integration period...
