Implement the direction of the Ministries to carry out communication work to raise awareness, innovate, diversify forms and methods, and digitally transform communication work; guide public opinion and provide accurate, complete, and timely information on policies and laws on child protection, prevention and control of violence and child sexual abuse; develop leaflets, reports, video clips, special pages, columns, documents, handbooks, professional manuals and post and update on mass media, electronic information pages of the Ministries, and social networks; Share communication products and documents (including communication products and documents on the National Telephone Switchboard - No. 111) with the Ministries in this Regulation to serve propaganda on media and publications of the parties or at conferences, seminars, training sessions, and exhibitions.

In recent times, the work of protecting and caring for children in the province has always received the attention and direction of the Provincial People's Committee. The implementation process has always had close coordination between departments, branches, organizations, and localities with many practical and effective activities, especially activities to care for children on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival and Action Month for Children. The number of children in special circumstances, children living in poor and near-poor households have been well cared for. Children in special circumstances are entitled to social assistance policies according to regulations. The Children's Protection Fund has actively contributed to caring for children, especially children affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, supporting disabled children, children with heart disease to have rehabilitation surgery, and integrate into the community.

The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to organize the launching ceremony of the Women's Rapid Response Team on preventing and combating violence and child abuse and organized TOT training for members of the Women's Rapid Response Team on preventing and combating violence and child abuse. In the era of the 4.0 revolution, with the rapid development of information technology, digital technology will have a great impact on the thinking, awareness, viewpoints, behavior, ethics, and lifestyle of not only adults but also children, both positively and negatively; the negative impact of the internet and social networks can affect the psychology of adolescents, early and unsafe sex, or can increase cases of child abuse (especially sexual abuse), children addicted to games, online...

Therefore, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Soc Trang province has promoted the dissemination, popularization and education of laws on child protection and care and the process of preventing, intervening and assisting children suffering from violence and abuse, contributing to raising awareness, understanding and consciousness of the whole society in the work of protecting, caring for and educating children, especially those who directly raise and manage children, which is necessary; in which special attention is paid to the content, form, recipients, and increased propaganda on the internet and social networks. Thereby creating widespread public opinion, condemning violations of the law on child abuse.

Specifically, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications and press and radio agencies to direct radio stations of districts, towns and cities to coordinate with relevant sectors to strengthen information dissemination and popularization of the Law on Children, documents of the Central and local governments related to child protection and care; and to publish news and articles on activities of visiting and giving gifts to children in special and difficult circumstances in localities during the Month of Action for Children.

Conducted about 480 grassroots radio broadcasts; 21 special columns; 17 radio stories; 15 Q&A sessions; 187 news, articles, and propaganda documents with a total broadcast time of about 2,300 minutes, and collaborated on about 26 news articles with related content on provincial newspapers and radio stations. In addition, the District Culture - Sports - Broadcasting Center also relayed related content from the Provincial Radio and Television Station, and the Commune Radio Station relayed from the District Culture - Sports - Broadcasting Center. Visual propaganda included: 50 flags, 153 banners hung on main roads of districts, towns, and cities of the province. Mobile propaganda vehicles conducted 72 propaganda sessions in communes, wards, and towns.

The Department of Justice and the Provincial Women's Union organized propaganda among cadres and members to carry out the mass movement to care for and protect children, ensuring the implementation of children's rights; strengthen preventive measures, support, and intervention to protect children, join hands to improve the living environment for children, create opportunities for children to live in a safe, healthy environment and develop comprehensively. Women's Union members organized 1,159 propaganda sessions, with 17,650 participants. Organize propaganda through social networking sites, regularly post news and articles on the Provincial Union's website (http://phunu.soctrang.gov.vn), Zalo group, Facebook of Soc Trang women with over 7,600 members participating. The Department of Justice organized a contest with contents on the Law on Children, the Civil Code, the Law on Prevention, the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations... attracting 17,758 candidates with a total of 72,182 contests.

The Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of districts, towns and cities coordinated with relevant sectors and units to organize information and propaganda about the National Child Protection Hotline 111, disseminate skills on child protection, prevention of child abuse and violence, prevention of child injuries and accidents, 184 sessions with 6,253 listeners; 78 news articles, 30 broadcasts, 12 warning signs, 02 policy - law sections related to children, 04 Q&A sessions on responsibilities and work of child protection and care with a duration of 300 minutes; propaganda through school websites and Zallo groups was conducted 27 sessions, with 14,443 participants (including 917 managers, teachers, 13,526 students...).

In addition, propaganda, dissemination, education of laws, knowledge and skills in preventing and combating child abuse have been promoted in many forms to raise awareness and responsibility of families, schools, agencies, organizations and the whole society in preventing and combating violence and child abuse, while helping children improve their understanding, knowledge and skills in self-protection. Agencies, departments and organizations have increased coordination in propagating child care and protection work; organizing propaganda and dissemination through radio programs on district radio and radio stations in communes and towns. Propaganda through many billboards, slogans and leaflets on the Law on Children, preventing accidents and injuries to children, preventing child abuse and violence has been deployed to the community. The content of popularizing and educating laws on preventing and combating violence and child abuse focuses on the responsibility in caring for, protecting and educating children; Preventing domestic violence, promoting and educating ethics and family lifestyle; thereby contributing significantly to preventing and combating violence and child abuse.
