Accordingly, continuing to promote the important role of the press, improving the quality of information and propaganda work on cultural development, building elegant and civilized Hanoians , on January 31, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee issued Plan No. 208-KH/TU on organizing the 7th Press Award on cultural development and building elegant and civilized Hanoians in 2024.

The announcement and award ceremony of the 7th Press Award for Cultural Development and Building Elegant and Civilized Hanoians is expected to be held in early October 2024 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

To contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of organizing the 7th Press Award on cultural development and building elegant and civilized Hanoians - 2024, the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee requests Hanoi press agencies to: Promote synchronous, practical and effective propaganda on cultural development and building elegant and civilized Hanoians on specialized pages and columns; propagate and mobilize cadres, reporters, party members and people to actively respond and have many excellent press works participating in the Award.

At the same time, strengthen the dissemination of Plan No. 208-KH/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on organizing the 7th Press Award on cultural development and building elegant and civilized Hanoians - 2024; emphasize the deadline for receiving press works participating in the Award (August 12, 2024) and the time of the Award Ceremony; select typical press works that are suitable for the criteria and regulations of the Award Rules to participate.
