One day at the end of June 2024, people in Khanh My village (Tam Thanh commune, Phu Ninh) actively responded to the "Grassroots People's Movement Day" launched by the People's Movement Committee of Phu Ninh District Party Committee.

According to the plan, the main job of the people is to help build the sidewalk for the concrete road connecting the village to the commune center that has just been invested in and built.

With the consensus and great contributions of the people, up to now, the whole Khanh My village has 21/25 concreted roads, 4 roads have mobilized people to expand the road surface and wait for investment allocation to continue implementation.

According to Mr. Huynh Van Ly - Secretary of Khanh My village Party Cell, among many "Clever Mass Mobilization" models that the Party Cell has registered to effectively implement, the most prominent model is "Mobilizing people to donate land, architectural materials and counterpart funds to expand the ground surface and build rural traffic".

Based on the agreement on investment policy and capital allocation from higher levels, the Party cell has developed a plan and assigned tasks to the Village Front Working Committee, Village Mass Mobilization Team and mass organizations to mobilize people to clear the land and contribute working days to carry out the work.

“Through the mobilization work, the people contributed 440 million VND; donated more than ^8,500m2 of land; more than 1,000 working days; 15 fences, 1 solid gate to expand the roadbed for rural traffic. From the results of implementing the “Skillful Mass Mobilization” model of the Party cell, it has created a new feature of the countryside, the village has no more poor households” - Mr. Ly said.

Summarizing 15 years of implementing the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" (2009 - 2024), Ms. Tran Thi Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Front Work Committee of Dan Long village (Tam Dan commune, Phu Ninh) is one of 26 typical individuals awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The story of Ms. Hai using her land use right certificate as collateral to borrow 200 million VND from the bank for 4 years to help 20 members of the Small Traders Club have capital to do business is one of many meaningful actions that bring practical results to people at the grassroots level.

Every month, Ms. Hai also coordinates to mobilize people to participate in cleaning up the environment on village roads, classifying waste at source and participating in the "Green House" model to collect scrap to raise funds to help poor women. Each quarter, she helps 20 poor women with an amount of more than 10 million VND...

Party member Tran Thi Hai has demonstrated a pioneering spirit, exemplary propaganda, and influenced people's awareness to participate in the effective implementation of sustainable poverty reduction. Up to now, the village's poverty rate is 1% and near-poor households are 0.02%.

“I will always strive to help those in difficult circumstances, carry out the motto “No one is left behind”; actively mobilize people to participate and complete the criteria for new rural models in the locality” - Ms. Hai confided.

Focus on quality and efficiency

After 15 years of implementing the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization", in Phu Ninh, there have been nearly 1,200 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models of departments, branches, armed forces, the Front, and socio-political organizations of the district implemented in various fields. Of which, there are over 300 typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models that have been effectively implemented and can be replicated.

In the cultural and social fields, many "smart mass mobilization" models have been registered to be implemented in conjunction with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", participating in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction.

Ms. Bui Thi Kim Hoang - Deputy Head of the People's Mobilization Committee of Phu Ninh District Party Committee, said: "From the spread of the "Skilled People's Mobilization" movement and the implementation of Directive No. 13, the Steering Committee for implementing the emulation movement of typical models of "Skilled People's Mobilization" of the district launched the implementation of the model according to "order" - a new way of directing implementation.

Accordingly, the whole district has focused on building landscapes at 11 central intersections and crossroads in communes and towns and 51 addresses in villages and residential blocks, creating green spaces at traffic junctions throughout the district" - Ms. Kim Hoang shared.

Mr. Le Van Ninh - Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Ninh District Party Committee said that in the 20-year journey of the district's establishment, mass mobilization work in general and the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in particular have always been closely associated with the task of building the homeland and building new rural areas.

“With nearly 1,200 models built in various fields, of which more than 110 typical models have been replicated, it is a vivid demonstration of the effectiveness of the emulation movement “Skilled Mass Mobilization” in the district,” Mr. Ninh affirmed.
