NDO - On April 20, Foreign Trade University organized the "Postgraduate Training Consulting and Connection Forum: Journey to Reaching New Heights" to promote the development of high-quality human resources.

In the context of knowledge becoming a key competitive resource, technology and artificial intelligence developing strongly, along with increasingly stringent requirements for sustainable development, postgraduate training plays an increasingly important role. This is the stage that helps learners equip themselves with critical thinking, adaptability, the ability to apply technology and create sustainable values ​​for themselves and the community.

In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Van Nghia, Head of the Graduate School, Foreign Trade University, emphasized the increasingly important role of postgraduate training in the context of a world that is constantly changing under the impact of technology, globalization and comprehensive socio-economic challenges.

In the new era, continuing education at the postgraduate level is not only an option to improve expertise, but has become an essential requirement to help each individual adapt, develop and assert their position in the global competitive environment.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Van Nghia also shared that, with the educational philosophy of "learning to master in the new era", Foreign Trade University always aims to build a modern academic ecosystem. Here, the connection between academia and practice, between school-enterprise-student-society is focused. The school is committed to accompanying learners not only throughout the training process, but also in the journey of discovering and promoting personal potential, developing critical thinking, leadership capacity, innovation and integration spirit - key factors that help learners firmly master the future.

The program took place in a lively, open and practical atmosphere, with sharing from three main speakers representing three perspectives: state management agencies, private enterprises and higher education institutions.

Acting Chairman of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality Ha Minh Hiep said: Postgraduate training is not only aimed at improving academic qualifications but also a long-term investment strategy in the quality of human resources and public administration capacity. This is the key factor to help improve operational efficiency, adaptability to digital transformation, administrative reform, and at the same time contribute to building a team of cadres with strategic, dynamic and innovative thinking.

The forum attracted the attention of final year students, individuals, agencies, organizations and businesses.

From the perspective of an educational manager, with many years of experience in the field of human resource management, the Principal of Foreign Trade University, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan affirmed: Foreign Trade University always strives to innovate and create to build a comprehensive educational ecosystem, where each individual has the opportunity to maximize their potential. This is an environment that nurtures the desire to make a difference and create added value not only for learners, but also for families, organizations and the whole society.

In order to meet the increasingly diverse learning needs and keep up with domestic and international knowledge trends, the school is implementing 16 postgraduate training programs, including 5 doctoral programs and 11 master's programs. The programs are designed in an in-depth and interdisciplinary direction, closely linked to the career development goals of learners.

In addition, Foreign Trade University is also promoting international cooperation to implement dual-degree master's programs, whereby students will receive both a degree from the University and a foreign partner. It is expected that by 2026, the University will issue and enroll two dual-degree master's programs taught entirely in English, including a master's in Business Administration and a master's in Finance.

Within the framework of the program, school representatives and guests participated in a live dialogue session, answering many questions from attendees about choosing a major, suitable training program, skills to equip as well as study and employment opportunities after graduation.

The forum is a bridge between four parties: State management agencies - Schools - Enterprises - Learners, together aiming to create a dynamic, practical and relevant postgraduate training ecosystem that meets the requirements of developing high-quality human resources. At the same time, it demonstrates the strong commitment of Foreign Trade University in accompanying learners on the journey of comprehensive development.

The forum included direct consultation activities on postgraduate training programs with the participation of speakers who are managers focusing on the topic “Postgraduate training – The path to mastery in the new era”. The event attracted the attention of final year students, individuals, agencies, organizations and businesses looking for opportunities to study, improve their expertise and develop high-quality human resources.
