Peach, Pho and Piano is an unprecedented box office phenomenon in Vietnamese cinema. The film, commissioned by the State, has received widespread public attention and created a media effect. As of the morning of February 22, the film Peach, Pho and Piano has surpassed the 1 billion VND revenue mark (according to Box Office Vietnam).
The film will be shown at the National Cinema Center from February 10, 2024 (the first day of the Lunar New Year 2024) with 3 screenings/day. Due to the sudden increase in the number of moviegoers, by February 20, there will be 18 screenings/day, but this is still not enough to meet the audience's demand.

In addition to the National Cinema Center, the Beta Cinema complex officially opened ticket sales for Dao, Pho and Piano from February 21, recording a large number of audiences who wanted to buy tickets online and in person. This is one of two private film units that volunteered to release this film on a non-profit basis. All ticket sales revenue from the film will be returned to the state budget.
Faced with this phenomenon, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Cinema Department to work with distribution units, encouraging cinema establishments to widely disseminate films produced by Vietnam using the state budget to audiences and people to promote efficiency, thereby promoting Vietnamese culture, country and people.
In the latest announcement of the Ministry, it stated: "The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism encourages film establishments to participate in disseminating the films Dao, Pho and Piano as well as films ordered by the State and Vietnamese films in general. Based on current regulations and practical requirements, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is directing specialized agencies to research and advise on continuing to perfect legal regulations to encourage and create favorable conditions for film establishments to disseminate films ordered by the State."

Pursuant to the 2022 Cinema Law and related legal documents, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 316/QD-BVHTTDL dated February 6, 2024 approving the Plan for pilot distribution and dissemination of a number of films produced using the State budget at the National Cinema Center and a number of Television and Radio - Television Stations nationwide.
This is one of the necessary tasks contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the field of film distribution and dissemination in particular and cinema activities in general. At the same time, it contributes to bringing cinema works ordered by the State to a wide audience and people.
