On June 15, Korean media released CCTV footage of the last image of female streamer Ah Yeong before her death. The image shows her entering a building in a black short-sleeved T-shirt and sweatpants .
Police also collected this outfit when they found Ah Yeong's body in a ditch on the outskirts of Kandal province (Cambodia) on June 6.

On the same day, AFP news agency also reported that Cambodian prosecutors have indicted a Chinese couple, Lai Wenshao (30 years old) and Cai Huijuan (39 years old), on charges of "murder with torture".
According to the suspect’s statement, the female streamer was being treated at their hospital when she suddenly had an epileptic seizure and died. To cover up the incident, they dumped the body of the unfortunate beauty in a pond. The two suspects were arrested after police found their fingerprints on the cloth used to wrap the victim’s body.
The case remains unsolved. Cambodian authorities have requested an autopsy with the victim’s family’s permission to determine the exact cause of the streamer’s death.

A local witness said that when police found Ah Yeong, her body was swollen and showed signs of being brutally beaten. Cambodian authorities are continuing to investigate the case. According to the prosecutor, if convicted, the two suspects could face life in prison.
BJ Ah Yeong, whose full name is Byun Ah Yeong, was a streamer on the South Korean television network AfreecaTV. She had more than 250,000 followers on Instagram. On June 2, Ah Yeong traveled to Cambodia with a friend. Two days later, her body was found wrapped in a red cloth in a pond in a village near the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh. She died at the age of 33.
