Hang Pagoda (Bac Hong Ward, Hong Linh Town) - a provincial-level scenic relic, discovered by local people in the 80s of the last century.
Hong Linh Town is located in the west of Hong Mountain and is named after the legendary 99-peak mountain range of Nghe An. Formed over millions of years, under the geological movement of the earth's crust, Hong Linh Mountain not only has a unique landscape that has entered poetry but also has a rich cultural sediment.
According to archaeological studies at Coi beach - Phoi phoi beach at the foot of Hong Linh mountain in Xuan Vien commune (Nghi Xuan), 5,000 years ago, ancient Vietnamese people came here to live. Many historical documents and anecdotes show that today's Hong Linh town was once the capital of Viet Thuong country.

According to legend, Kinh Duong Vuong was traveling by boat on the river when he met a beautiful girl emerging from the water, calling herself Long Than, then married her and built the capital Viet Thuong in Ngan Hong.
Later, when Lac Long Quan was born, he migrated to the North to establish the capital in Phu Tho and gave birth to 18 Hung Kings. Although later, Ngan Hong was no longer the capital of Vietnam, the vestiges of an ancient capital at the time of the founding of the country with a magical story on the Hong 99-peak mountain range still live forever in the minds of the people.

In order to promote advantages, create momentum to promote socio-economic development while contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural values of the nation, Hong Linh Town issued Resolution No. 02 - NQ/Thu dated December 31, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee on strengthening leadership in developing spiritual cultural tourism in the area by 2025.
