Specifically, the largest savings and reductions were in the Department of Education and Training with more than VND 4,308 billion, accounting for 16.3% of the total savings and reductions of the provincial budget units. Ranked second was the Department of Transport with more than VND 4,192 billion, accounting for 15.8% of the total savings and reductions. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to guide the inspection and supervision of agencies and units in accordance with regulations. The Provincial State Treasury controlled the expenditures of departments, branches, sectors and units to ensure budget savings and reductions according to regulations.

Previously, on August 7, 2024, the Government issued Resolution 119/NQ-CP on the scope and subjects of saving 5% of regular expenditure in 2024. Based on this resolution, the Department of Finance issued a document guiding budget levels and agencies and units for implementation.
