At the Conference, delegates listened to reports summarizing outstanding results in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the Party Executive Committee; results of inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of the year, directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

The conference unanimously assessed that in the first 6 months of 2023, the work of Party building and rectification has been comprehensively and synchronously implemented, with many innovations and creativity, and achieved many results, most specifically in the fields of politics, ideology, Party building organization, propaganda, mass mobilization, and inspection and supervision.
Specifically, in the first 6 months of 2023, the Party Committee of the Ministry effectively coordinated to organize conferences to disseminate and implement the study of the Resolution of the Central Conference in both direct and online forms; organized preliminary and final reviews of directives, resolutions, and regulations of the Central Committee and the Party Committee of the Central Agencies.
In addition, the Party Committee of the Ministry also maintains monthly Standing Committee meetings, quarterly Executive Committee meetings and ad hoc meetings to introduce additional personnel for planning, perfect the Party Committee, deploy and perform inspection and supervision tasks and a number of other tasks.
The Party Committee of the Ministry promptly issued the 2023 Working Program of the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry; the 2023 Inspection and Supervision Program of the Party Committee of the Ministry; the Plan to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; the implementation of the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2023 achieved better results than the previous year; Guidance on piloting online party activities and party activities in party groups at party committees and branches under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs abroad; promulgated Regulations on standards and procedures for appointing full-time cadres for party work at Vietnamese representative agencies abroad; summarized the implementation of the Party Charter; Guided and directed the Trade Union Congresses of affiliated units towards the Trade Union Congress of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the 2023-2028 term.
In addition, training courses on Party work, inspection and supervision skills, political theory courses to serve Party development work and improve political theory qualifications to meet the conditions for promotion to civil servant, public employee, cadre and Party member ranks in the Ministry are also organized and coordinated.
The Party building research and advisory work has many highlights and is highly appreciated; the propaganda and mass mobilization work has been actively implemented, achieving many achievements; the inspection and supervision work has been given attention. The achievements of the Party Committee have great contributions from the members of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and representatives of mass organizations.

On behalf of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Permanent Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu gave a speech directing the implementation of a number of key tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.
Firstly, continue to organize and implement conferences to disseminate the Central Resolution; summarize and review the regulations, processes, rules and instructions of the Central Committee and the Party Committee of the Central agencies directly in the country and online connecting with Party committees and organizations abroad.
Monday, Actively prepare to build the program, plan, and content of the Plenary Session on Party building and rectification work and overseas Party work at the 32nd Diplomatic Conference in a practical, economical, and effective manner.
Third, continue to implement the inspection and supervision plan to ensure compliance with the program, time, progress and substance; overcome the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, spread, and create positive changes in the Party Committee of the Ministry and its subordinate Party committees and organizations.
Wednesday, Actively implement and complete the Project on Regulations on inspection and supervision of party organizations and party members abroad.
Thursday, Ensure timely completion of tasks according to the 2023 work program and plan of the Party Committee of the Ministry; organize a preliminary review and guide the Party committees and subordinate Party organizations to summarize the work of the third quarter, key tasks of the fourth quarter and strive to complete the assigned tasks in 2023.
The Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry believes that the results achieved in the past 6 months are the basis for the Party Executive Committee to continue to strengthen leadership and comprehensive direction of political tasks, Party building and industry building tasks; strongly innovate thinking and action, lead and direct Party organizations and Party members to successfully complete key tasks in the last 6 months of 2023.
