On the afternoon of September 14, speaking with reporters, Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City (Binh Thuan Province) said that the owner of the construction at Hoang Hon Slope (Phu Hai Ward) had voluntarily dismantled the illegal construction at the request of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City.

A working group of Phan Thiet authorities and Phu Hai Ward People's Committee were present at the scene to supervise and urge the dismantling.
The owner of this illegal construction project, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Pham, has requested a two-month extension to self-demolish it due to the large scale of the project.
However, the city requires the complete demolition of all illegal structures at Hoang Hon slope within 10 days, from September 13.

Regarding this illegal construction, on September 10, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province directed the inspection and strict handling of this illegal construction.
On September 11, the Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee directed to resolutely handle violations of illegal construction and encroachment on public land in the Hoang Hon slope area.
At the same time, temporarily suspend the Chairman of Phu Hai Ward People's Committee to review responsibility in land management where illegal construction works exist.
This unlicensed construction includes a series of restaurants, cafes and bungalows, located on an area of more than 4,500 square meters, mostly on state-managed land.
The location of the illegal construction is at the foot of Co Mountain, adjacent to Han Mac Tu Street, one side facing the sea... facing Mui Ne National Tourist Area.
